Such a fantastic few days I have enjoyed at the Technological University Dublin.
After a full itinerary visiting some classes at the City Campus and also at the Grangegorman Campus, I have learned about the accurate approach developed in the product design programme at the School of Mechanical and Design Engineering.
The possibility of discussing and sharing ideas regarding the Final Year Project with that a cross disciplinary group of supervisors, allowed me to understand the way the students link the information given by the lecturers.
I was proud that your students could reach the prize during the Bolton Trust Student Enterprise Competition final. Hopefully the ones who joined the National Finals of “Where There Is No Engineer” would reach a good result also.
I appreciate very much the opportunity you gave me to share my own experiences with your students during the “Applied Innovation in Design” workshop. Hopefully the shared ideas encourage their curiosity to open new paths and face new challenges and their infinite possibilities.
Thank you all Robert Simpson, Colm O’Kane, Ceri Almrott, Pearl O’Rourke, Ray Ekins, Alan McDonnell, Keith Colton, Robert Tully, Bernard Timmins, David McDonnell, Mark Ennis.
Let’s stay in touch dear friends 🙂
